Candidate will report to the IT and Telecom Manager and will directly support the Manager of Tech Support and Carrier Relations and his team. He will be in charge of troubleshooting, maintaining, insuring redundancy
and scalability, and optimizing United World Telecom's VOIP, TDM, and data network.
Responsibilities will include:
Configuring and managing Dialogic based switching platforms for calling card, callback, call forwarding, and VOIP applications
Configuring and managing SIP servers, Cisco AS5350
Configuring and managing Asterisk PBX
Supporting services using Visual Studio .NET
Analyzing VoIP-related problems (codecs, signaling, network connection)
Overseeing trouble resolution on high level LAN and WAN, data and voice network problems, and respond to customer escalation
Identifying and assessing emerging telecom technologies to be assimilated, integrated, and introduced within the company
Developing new and modifying existing services/applications using “GUI” application and call script generator and/or Delphi language and following through successful implementation of such services
Planning for capacity in terms of hardware and connectivity requirements
Measuring and maintaining maximum uptime for all of our servers
The ideal candidate will have:
Extensive knowledge of IT systems and technology in a telecom environment, which includes both Legacy switching and the Next Generation Softswitch technologies
Knowledge and experience with configuration and maintenance of: gateways, routers, switches, firewall, DNS, DHCP, network servers, multiplexers, SIP servers (Asterisk, OpenSER, Brekeke, etc.), calling card platforms,
PRI, Dialogic, VoIP systems (SIP, dial peers, VoIP carrier trunking) and DS1/DS3 equipment
Ability to trace and troubleshoot VoIP sessions at the packet level
Advanced knowledge of MS SQL (MySQL also a plus)
Knowledge of Visual Basic, Delphi, Visual Studio, ASP, PHP
Ability to adjust to shifting priorities, demands, and deadlines through analysis and problem solving

We are currently looking for a Corporate Account Manager who will be mainly responsible for developing new corporate accounts as well as maintaining current clients in the assigned territory. The successful candidate
should have a successful track record in account management and business development in B2B environment.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities and to help develop new marketing campaigns.
Acquire and maintain corporate accounts with international telecommunication needs
Reach out to key corporate decision makers, identify international telecom needs of their organization, propose specific solutions, and negotiate commercial terms of business.
Act as the main point of contact within UWT for assigned corporate accounts and work with related departments to resolve issues and to assist with service requests.
Build strong relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.
Collaborate with marketing team in developing and applying pricing strategy as well as in creating new marketing channels and campaigns.
Develop unique ways to grow the new and current business by analyzing internal data, competition, and the markets, and by providing solutions to management in the face of challenges.
Create monthly progress reports utilizing internal and external data summarizing growth opportunities and challenges along with proposed or already taken actions.
A minimum of 4 years relevant experience or a bachelor’s degree.
A minimum of 2 years proven business development and account management experience in B2B environment.
Full command of MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and preferably MS PowerPoint.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and preferably a second language.
Excellent analytical and presentation skills.
Highly motivated, goal oriented, persistent, and a skilled negotiator.
Technical understanding of hardware, software, and network environments.
Prior experience in telecom industry is preferred.
