How does International Callback Work?
Upon sign-up for the Callback service, the customer receives a unique and exclusive US phone number, also referred to as an access number.
To place an international phone call, the customer first dials the US access number and hangs up at the first ring. In a few seconds, our switching center calls the customer's phone number back and gives a message
prompting the customer to dial the destination number.
You can also use a callback card to help you remember your access number.
Phone services are monopolized in many countries around the world. These companies charge non-competitive rates for local calls and outrageous calling rates for international long distance calls.
Telephone systems such as Global Call Connect and International Callback Service help people from all over the world to make international phone calls from their
countries to any country in the world while paying some of the most competitive international calling rates available anywhere. These international calling services are often very popular in countries where the
cost of international calls are very high, and the users can save money by triggering a call from another country where the international call rates are cheaper and then getting a prompt to enter the destination
How Callback Service works:
a) Users need to activate a Callback Service with a company that offers competitive calling rates.
b) The Callback company will assign a local access trigger number for the users.
c) Users need to call their local trigger number, let the phone ring once, and then hang up to activate the Callback system.
d) The previous action will send a signal to the Callback system, which will call the users back immediately and give a prompt to enter either the destination number or a PIN if the user does not have a
callback number registered in the callback system. If a user needs to enter a PIN, they will get a prompt to enter the destination number once the PIN has been entered and recognized.
e) Users dial the destination number they want to reach to complete their international call at a fraction of the cost.
It may seem like too many steps, but in reality callers just need to dial their access trigger number, wait a few seconds, and hang up.
Then wait for their phone to ring, pick up the call which now will give them a prompt, enter the destination number, and start talking.
